Babi at babinokia.com came up with a great theme called WoodElf. The theme presents a mysterious elf hiding in the woods. The theme is great especially due to the choice of colors.
Only disadvantage: it occupies quite some memory.

As mentioned in one of the earlier posts it is again time for some themes. Building upon the earlier released BMW theme : BMW Z4 maniac, I like to introduce two new themes one dedicated to the M3 and one dedicated to the Z8. The BMW Z8 roadster probably one of the greatest cars build in the last century :
The Z8 is one of the most fascinating cars that BMW has built in it’s 90 year history. It’s inspiration, and it’s forefather is the beautiful BMW 507 which was designed by Count Albrecht Graf Goertz and built between 1955-58. The Z8 revived the concept of an aluminum bodied sportster with classic proportions, but it was made using the most modern innovative construction techniques to create BMW’s first all aluminum car … Read more>

Continuing to search flickr.com and having some positive feedback on the earlier golf theme, I simply assumed there should be interest in a nice BMW theme. Over the last century, BMW made many great cars. For this theme I decided to use the Z4 roadster. Thus let me introduce a new theme which I like to call BMW Z4 maniac.
This theme has been optimized for the Nokia e61.
Any ideas for other great cars BMW produced in the past - just let me know.

You can download the theme here. (*.sis file)Â

And here it is … based upon the golf ball picture earlier downloaded from flickr.com let me introduce the new theme Golf Fanatic. Honestly speaking the creation of this one took me more time than hoped for up front. Anyway, I do hope that for some golf enthusiasts out there this Nokia e61 theme will lighten up their mobile. Any comments, just let me know.

You can download here.
BTW. I am planning to use this theme as a guidline for “Carbide.ui for dummies”
BTW. anyone knows a good golf scorecard application for the Symbian 3rd edition phones? I have used Intelligolf before, however, this one is not (yet?) released for the latest Nokia phones.

Just going through some pictures at flickr.com. The plan for creating a golf based theme was already there. Coming across the above picture is the first step as it should be possible to work with it. Keep you posted, and for any golf fanatic out there, I will try to make it “sweet”.

As yesterday already posted at e-series.org as a part of the weekly ‘Friday Themes’, please find my updated e61 meets Skype theme in a theme.
The theme is called Missing Skype eliminating the background from the earlier theme. In addition some small tweeks have been applied.

Over the last weeks a theme competition was held earlier initiated at e61life.com. The winner of this competition was announced yesterday.
And the winner is … Kooky Phone Light by Valéry. Congratulations.

The good thing about this theme, as mentioned in earlier posts, is that it is simple and the background is not “messed up” with a too crowded picture. Good contrast, good readability.
You can download the theme here.

Picked this one up at blogs.s60.com. The new Nokia s60 3rd edition FP1 devices will carry the theme Turquoise. Looks a bit similar to the theme Daniel posted before at e61life.com.
You can download it here.
This is the Turquoise theme that will be used in forthcoming Nokia devices based on S60 3rd Edition FP1. But since the Jade team was so kind, all you S60 3rd Edition owners can now use it too. Giving away the theme might sound like a small thing, but this is the first time our application team delivers software directly to end-users. With luck, this might be a “small step for man, but one giant leap for mankind” Read more …
